The design demand

Charlie’s Travels is a challenging client where I began an exciting journey as a graphic designer. With headquarters in Nairobi and offices in Uganda and South Africa, their goal is to introduce travelers to countries that are sometimes fraught with stereotypes.

As the first graphic designer at Charlie’s Travels, I was faced with the task of bringing order to the chaos and creating the unique Charlie’s Travels sauce. Together with the team, we tackled marketing aspects in short two-week sprints.

This experience enriched my versatility as a designer. From offline to online design, website design and everything in between. From developing a consistent design brand manual to creating landing pages for monthly sales goals. I worked on several creative campaigns to bring the atmosphere of African travel destinations to the living room, including a YouTube and video channel. A true adventure in both offline and online designs.

The result? A foundation laid for the branding of Charlie’s Travels where the adventurous spirit is expressed not only textually or through beautiful videos but also visually.
